The Rexroth Indramat DKS01.1-W100A-DS68-50-FW is a digital servo drive. The package containing the drive is market by a bar-coded label which identifies the drive version and contains information about the order. The package also contains the accessories which are packed in separate bags. The drive should be stored in a dust and moisture-free environment where the temperature is between -30 and 85 degrees Celsius. A suitable shock absorbing support should be used if there is a risk of heavy shock during transportation. The DKS01.1-W100A-DS68-50-FW is designed for installation inside a closed housing or control cabinet. The drive is protected against penetration of objects having diameter over 50 millimeters. However, the drive is not protected against water entry or intentional penetration. Height of the drive is 390 millimeters and the depth is 170 millimeters.
A minimum clearance of 80 millimeters should be provided above and below the mounted drive. The DKS01.1-W100A-DS68-50-FW is rated for 100 Amps and supports 230 Volts AC (3-phase, 50 – 60 Hertz) input. The drive delivers 100% of rated torque for temperatures up to 45 degrees Celsius. Above 45 degrees Celsius the output of the drive derates and at 55 degrees Celsius the drive output derates to 80% of rated values. Similarly, up to 1000 meters altitude the drive delivers 100% of rated torque. Above 1000 meters however the output derates and at 5000 meters the output derates to approximately 65% of rated torque. The average relative humidity must not exceed 70% throughout the year. Water condensation on the drive can lead to damage. Approximate weight of the DKS01.1-W100A-DS68-50-FW is 11 kilograms. Rexroth recommends installation of the drive by trained personnel only. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
