The DKS01.1-W100A-DS56-00-FW is an intelligent servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. It interfaces with torque-controlled synchronous motors and provides closed-loop motion control for automated machinery lines, packaging stations, and material-handling axes. By regulating current and voltage to the connected motor, the drive converts commanded position and velocity profiles into the electromagnetic torque needed for repeatable industrial motion. The unit processes control commands in real time so the motor can respond accurately during indexing, feeding, and synchronized axis movement.

The drive accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × 230 V AC (±10%), which is rectified to energize the internal DC link. Cabinet airflow must carry away this heat so the electronics remain within their operating temperature range. Reliable operation is permitted up to 55 °C ambient and 1000 m elevation when adequate cabinet airflow is provided. The DSF encoder interface supplies digital position feedback so the control loop can monitor rotor position continuously during motion and holding states.
