The DKS01.1-W100A-DS43-00 is a digital servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. It interfaces with MDD synchronous servomotors through the DSF encoder channel and regulates torque, velocity, and position in automated machine axes. By converting three-phase line power into a controlled DC link and pulse-width-modulated motor output, the unit supplies regulated current to the motor and routes regenerative energy to an internal bleeder circuit. This control structure supports coordinated axis movement in packaging, handling, and other industrial automation systems.

This drive accepts a supply of 3 × 230 V AC (±10%) and draws up to 11 kVA during peak electrical demand. Inside the power section, the rectifier maintains a DC bus of 300 V, which is switched at a carrier frequency of 4 kHz to shape the motor current waveform. The inverter delivers a rated output of 100 A, enabling full-torque operation on the associated MDD motor family. Excess kinetic energy is dissipated by an integral bleeder resistor that can absorb 0.5 kW continuously, which helps protect the DC link during rapid deceleration. Heat generated by semiconductor losses is removed through a conductive heat-dissipation plate, so enclosure airflow is managed at the panel level rather than by a fan inside the drive.

For short braking intervals, the bleeder handles up to 18 kW, allowing high-inertia loads to stop without external chopper hardware. Steady-state converter losses reach 480 W, and that heat load should be considered in enclosure design. Operation is permitted up to +55 °C with output derating, and installation elevations may reach 1000 m without additional adjustment. The housing measures 390 mm high, 170 mm wide, and 260 mm deep, which supports compact multi-axis cabinet layouts. Its compact housing also leaves room for adjacent drive modules and other cabinet components.
