The DKS01.1-W100A-DL41-01-FW is an intelligent digital servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. Installed between a machine controller and an electric motor, it modulates power, monitors feedback, and enforces protective limits so that axes in packaging lines, pick-and-place gantries, or tooling stations follow precise electronic commands. Its control electronics and integral brake chopper make it suitable for general industrial automation.
Incoming three-phase power of 3 × 230 V AC is rectified and smoothed before the inverter stage raises it to a regulated bus of 300 V DC. The output bridge switches at 4 kHz, balancing switching losses with current ripple for medium-performance motion tasks. Under steady load, the drive supplies 50 A of continuous motor current, while transient events such as rapid acceleration are covered by a rated ceiling of 100 A. The installation requires up to 11 kVA of line capacity to support the drive and its connected motor at full load. Internal shunts absorb excess regenerated energy continuously at 0.5 kW, and humidity classification F indicates the protective coating used on populated boards.
