Product Description:
The DKS01.1-W100A-DL40-01-FW is a digital servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. It controls three-phase servo motors by regulating current and voltage in a closed loop, giving machine tools and material-handling axes responsive motion for positioning and speed control. Signal processing and power electronics are combined in one housing, which helps reduce cabinet wiring and supports continuous industrial operation. This arrangement also lets the drive respond quickly to changing load conditions during acceleration, deceleration, and steady-state motion.
It accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x 230 V AC, which is rectified to a DC bus of 300 V. Under nominal conditions, the drive provides a continuous phase current of 100 A. The output stage switches at 4 kHz, which helps reduce motor torque ripple during operation. Regenerated energy from deceleration is absorbed by an internal bleeder resistor with a continuous dissipation rating of 0.5 kW. Thermal energy is removed through heat dissipation fins, so forced air cooling is not required. Position and velocity data are returned through DSF digital servo feedback, and a 4 mA, 10 V DC diagnostics output provides status information to the higher-level control.
For short braking intervals, the same resistor can handle bursts up to 18 kW. Total internal losses are limited to 480 W, which helps the drive remain within its temperature limits at installation elevations up to 1000 m. During acceleration peaks, the rectifier draws a maximum of 28 A from the mains. The housing has an IP10 protection class, so the unit is intended for installation inside a control cabinet. The noise emission level is standard, which keeps the acoustic profile consistent with typical industrial drive installations.
