It converts incoming line power into regulated three-phase motor output for precision motion control in machining cells, pick-and-place systems, and packaging axes. By processing motor feedback and adjusting pulse-width modulation in real time, the drive supports stable speed and torque control during changing load conditions. It also works with higher-level control systems through the DSF feedback channel, allowing coordinated response to machine commands and status signals.

Its power section accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x 230 V AC, which is rectified to an internal bus of 300 V DC for the output stage. Under rated duty, the unit delivers 100 A RMS to the connected motor, and a carrier frequency of 4 kHz shapes the PWM waveform to help reduce torque ripple. Reliable operation is permitted at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C and elevations up to 1000 m when cabinet airflow is not restricted.
