The DKS01.1-W100A-DG02-00 is a drive unit produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. It converts fixed mains power to a variable, pulse-width-modulated output so that closed-loop servo motors can follow precise speed and torque commands in automated production cells, packaging lines, and handling systems. This lets connected servo motors respond accurately to commanded changes during indexing, positioning, and continuous motion tasks. The enclosure meets IP10 because the electronics are intended for cabinet mounting.

This model draws power from a nominal three-phase supply of 3 x 230 V AC, which the rectifier stores on a regulated DC bus at 300 V. Motor phases can receive a continuous output of 100 A, while switching devices operate at a carrier of 4 kHz to reduce current ripple. An integrated braking resistor dissipates regenerated energy at 0.5 kW continuously and tolerates short peaks up to 18 kW, which helps prevent DC-bus overvoltage during deceleration. Heat is removed through passive dissipation in the aluminum housing. Maximum load input current is limited to 28 A, and analog velocity feedback is provided as a 4 mA signal. The ready relay is rated for 24 V DC at 1 A, noise emission is standard, and the feedback and status outputs support external control and monitoring circuits.

The drive supplies full current up to 55 °C, and derating is required above that temperature to protect the semiconductors. Operation is permitted up to 1000 m above sea level so convection cooling remains effective without reducing insulation performance. Control electronics on terminal X9 require 24 V DC / 625 mA, and that capacity must be available from the cabinet power supply. Cabinet power planning should account for this control demand in addition to the main input and motor load.
