As a closed-loop controller, it interfaces with three-phase AC servomotors and converts incoming line power into a regulated DC bus and a pulse-width-modulated output that controls torque and speed in industrial automation cells, material-handling axes, and packaging stations. This arrangement lets the drive regulate motor behavior with closed-loop feedback, which supports repeatable motion on axes that must accelerate, decelerate, and hold speed accurately during automatic cycles. Once energized, an internal diode bridge charges a 300 V DC link that feeds the inverter section. The housing carries an IP10 ingress rating under DIN 40 050, so it must be installed inside a closed cabinet. It may be operated in ambient temperatures up to 55 °C, with current derating above that point, and it can be transported or stored at 85 °C without damage. Full performance is available to 1000 m above sea level, after which standard derating guidelines apply.
