Product Description:
The DKS01.1-W100A-DA07-02-FW is a digital servo drive built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. As a closed-loop amplifier, it converts three-phase AC line power into a regulated DC link and modulated output so it can control synchronous and induction motors in automated machinery, material-handling lines, and packaging equipment. By regulating motor current in real time, the unit supports accurate torque and velocity control during indexing, conveying, and other motion sequences that require repeatable response under changing loads. It is suited to machines that need controlled acceleration, steady running speed, and responsive deceleration from one drive package.
This drive accepts a line input of 3×230 V AC ±10% from a three-phase supply and rectifies it to an internal link voltage of 300 V DC. The inverter section can deliver a continuous motor current of 50 A, while peaks up to 100 A are available for rapid acceleration and temporary overload demand during dynamic axis movement. Excess regenerative energy is dissipated by a built-in bleeder that handles 0.5 kW continuously and rises to 18 kW for short intervals, which helps absorb energy returned by decelerating loads. Pulse-width modulation operates at 4 kHz to balance current ripple and switching loss in the power stage. The unit uses heat dissipation for cooling, and the noise emission level is standard, which helps keep cabinet acoustics moderate. The drive is version 1.
Under full electrical loading the unit loses 480 W, so cabinet ventilation must remove that thermal output to prevent heat buildup around adjacent components. Ambient operation is rated to +45 °C; above this point, the drive can continue to run with current derating until the absolute limit of 55 °C. Storage is permitted from -30 °C to +85 °C, which allows the unit to remain inactive through a broad temperature range when it is not energized. Installations up to 1000 m elevation do not require derating, while higher elevations call for vibration-free mounting. The unit has IP10 protection, so it must be installed inside a closed enclosure to keep fingers and larger objects away from energized parts.
