The DKS01.1-W100A-DA03-00 is a digital servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. In an automation line, it receives motion commands from a higher-level controller and modulates output for a synchronous motor, allowing accurate speed and position control during repetitive machine cycles. Digital servo feedback is processed inside the housing, so the unit can close the control loop without relying on external feedback electronics. As a standalone drive, it mounts in a control cabinet and connects directly to plant mains for use on packaging, assembly, and material-transfer axes.

The drive accepts a three-phase supply of 3x 230 V AC, and the internal rectifier raises it to an intermediate circuit voltage of 300 V DC. From this bus, the power stage can deliver a continuous motor current of 100 A, which supports demanding acceleration on short-stroke axes and other motion tasks that require high dynamic response. Surplus regenerative energy is routed to an integrated bleeder resistor that dissipates 0.5 kW continuously and can absorb peaks of 18 kW during rapid deceleration. Heat is removed by passive dissipation, and position data is processed through DSF encoder feedback so the drive can regulate motor motion inside the unit.

At full load, the converter releases 480 W of heat, and its switching devices operate at a PWM carrier frequency of 4 kHz to balance current ripple and audible noise. The housing is rated IP10, so the unit is intended for installation inside a closed control cabinet rather than in open machine areas. Reliable operation is permitted at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C, and installations above 1000 m require derating. The noise emission is standard for cabinet-mounted electronics, and the enclosure protects only against vertically falling objects larger than 50 mm.
