The DKS01.1-W100A-DA02-01-FW is a digital servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. It conditions three-phase mains power, generates a regulated DC bus, and drives matched servomotors through controlled inverter output. This arrangement allows the drive to regulate torque, speed, and position in closed-loop motion systems. It combines the power stage and control functions needed for coordinated servo operation in one unit. It is suited for industrial axes in automated assembly cells, material-handling gantries, and packaging machines where repeatable motion is required.

The drive delivers a rated output of 100 A, allowing rapid torque transients without saturating the power stage. During maximum duty, it draws 11 kVA from the supply while the internal DC bus is maintained at 300 V for stable inverter operation. Regenerative energy is routed to a bleeder network that dissipates 0.5 kW continuously and up to 18 kW in short bursts, which helps prevent overvoltage when the motor decelerates a moving load. The unit also has a continuous apparent power capability of 50 kVA, and heat is removed by forced-air cooling rather than liquid cooling. This cooling method supports cabinet installation with airflow across the heat-producing components.

The control algorithms modulate a 4 kHz carrier so that motor current remains smooth, and total drive power loss is limited to 480 W excluding the bleeder load. Installation is permitted up to 1000 m above sea level, and continuous operation is allowed to 45 °C with output derating above that point until the upper operating limit of 55 °C. Storage is permitted from -30 °C to +85 °C during transport or idle periods.
