The DKS01.1-W050A-RS18-01 is best suited for the MDD digital AC servo motor. The servo drive can be connected to the motor by using Indramat power cables. The combination of the two forms a complete drive system. It can then be customized and configured for any desired operation. The basic unit has empty slots that can accommodate plug-in cards like the SERCOS interface, ANALOG interface with incremental encoder emulator, ANALOG interface with absolute encoder emulator, and positioning card. As part of its component, the servo drive’s configuration label determines the type codes for the configured servo drive, the basic unit, the software module, and the plug-in cards in their different slots. The servo drive’s signal cables can be connected and disconnected via screw terminals. Diagnosing and troubleshooting any errors or faults can be easily done through its alphanumeric display.
The DKS01.1-W050A-RS18-01 can be connected to a three-phase connection with a 3x 230 (±10%) input voltage and a 50…60 Hz frequency. This connection should be protected by using circuit breakers or fuses. It has a bleeder continuous power of 0.35 kW and a bleeder peak power of 9,4 kW. For the recommended operating condition, a permissible ambient temperature for rated specifications of +5 to +45 °C must be observed. The servo drive’s maximum elevation without derating should be 1000 m above sea level. The servo drive has also passed the requirements to be classified under the IP 10 protection class.
