The DKS01.1-W050A-RL08-01-FW is a digital servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. It regulates torque and speed for synchronous or induction servomotors in automated production lines, translating motion commands from higher-level controllers into modulated three-phase output. Intended for cabinet mounting, the unit works with resolver feedback from the attached motor to close the position, velocity, and current loops. The control section also supports stable response during changing load conditions, which is important in positioning axes, feed systems, and other machine automation tasks.

Its three-phase supply accepts 3x 230 V AC with a ±10% tolerance, and the converter can deliver a continuous output of 50 A to the motor phases. Inside the drive, the intermediate circuit is stabilized at 300 V DC, providing stored energy for regenerative events and smoothing the PWM output. Pulse-width modulation runs at 4 kHz, which balances dynamic response with switching losses during normal operation. The energy that must be dissipated during dynamic braking is handled by an internal bleeder rated at 0.35 kW continuously and 9.4 kW at peak load, converting surplus DC bus energy into heat. Ambient operation is permitted up to 55 °C when current derating is applied, and installation altitude can reach 1000 m without performance loss. The chassis has an IP10 protection class, so it must be installed inside a grounded control cabinet to prevent accidental contact with live parts. Because the enclosure provides limited protection, the cabinet should also keep dust and foreign objects away from internal components. With 305 W of power loss at full load, the enclosure must provide adequate airflow to remove heat. The drive is version 1, and the noise emission is standard.
