Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat’s DKS01.1-W050A-RA02-00 is a digital servo drive in the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. It regulates torque, speed, and position of connected servo motors in automated production lines. The unit uses motor feedback and dissipates heat internally to protect the power electronics. It is suited for servo axes that require closed-loop control in packaging, handling, and general machine automation. The drive is version 1, meets standard noise emission requirements, and is intended for mounting in switchgear cabinets where basic finger protection is sufficient.
The drive accepts a three-phase input of 3x 230 V AC, rectifies it to a DC bus of 300 V DC, and modulates the motor phases with a pulse-width modulation frequency of 4 kHz. Under rated conditions, it can deliver a peak phase current of 50 A, while its thermal design supports a continuous current of 25 A without derating. Resolver feedback from the motor is processed through an integrated interface, so rotor position remains available during rapid transients. Operation is permitted at ambient temperatures from +5 °C to +45 °C, and service is allowed up to +55 °C when output current is reduced. The drive can be installed at elevations up to 1000 m without loss of rating, and the power stage releases heat through the rear panel to the surrounding air.
The braking circuit includes a bleeder resistor that absorbs 0.35 kW continuously and tolerates surges up to 9.4 kW during deceleration of high-inertia loads. Internal losses are limited to 305 W, which helps determine cabinet ventilation requirements. The housing has an IP10 rating, which provides finger protection but no dust sealing. When not in service, the drive may be stored between -30 °C and +85 °C. The unit also has standard noise emission levels for typical plant environments.
