The DKS01.1-W050A-DS24-03-FW is an intelligent digital servo drive from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. Installed between the mains supply and a compatible synchronous servo motor, it converts incoming power into controlled output pulses so an axis can follow commanded motion in automated machinery and material-handling systems. By regulating torque, speed, and position through pulse-width modulation, the unit provides the closed-loop control needed for accurate industrial motion. Its digital control structure also helps the connected motor respond quickly to changing commands during indexing, positioning, and speed-controlled movement.

The drive can deliver a peak rated current of 50 A, while a continuous current of 25 A is available for steady operation. This current balance supports short accelerations without forcing the unit to carry peak thermal load continuously. Under full load, it draws 9.5 kVA from a three-phase 230 VAC supply and uses an internal braking resistor to absorb regenerated energy during deceleration. The intermediate circuit is held at 300 V DC, and a switching carrier of 4 kHz shapes the motor waveform for controlled output. Terminals and the protective cover meet IP10, so the unit is intended for installation inside an enclosure rather than for exposed mounting. The design also uses standard noise emission and passive heat dissipation, which makes cabinet layout and airflow important during continuous operation.

Full output is available at ambient temperatures up to +45 °C. The drive can operate down to +5 °C and at elevations up to 1000 m without derating. These limits suit most indoor industrial locations where stable operation is expected across normal production shifts. Above the full-rating temperature range, current must be reduced, so enclosed panels should provide enough ventilation to keep internal heat from building up during heavy duty cycles.
