The DKS01.1-W050A-DL03-01-FW is a digital servo drive built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. As a drive controller, it converts fixed-frequency mains power into the controlled output needed for precise servo motor regulation in automated machinery. It is intended for motion tasks such as packaging, handling, and general automation where stable speed and position control are required. The drive works with a servo motor to regulate acceleration, deceleration, and holding behavior during cyclic machine operation. Version 1 provides the hardware platform for axis control, dynamic braking, and regenerative energy handling inside a protected cabinet.
The drive accepts a three-phase supply of 3x 230 V AC (±10%) at 50/60 Hz. That input is rectified to an internal DC bus of 300 V, which feeds the inverter stage during motor operation. This arrangement supports energy transfer between the rectifier, storage section, and output stage as the load changes during machine cycles. Excess kinetic energy is dissipated by an integrated bleeder rated for 0.35 kW continuously and up to 9.4 kW during short braking intervals, helping prevent DC overvoltage. Line-side demand reaches 9.5 kVA under maximum load, while heat is dissipated through the housing and the noise emission is standard.
Output capability reaches 50 A for servo operation, and conversion losses are limited to 305 W. Environmental limits include an ambient range of +5 °C to +45 °C, derating up to an absolute maximum of +55 °C, storage from −30 °C to +85 °C, and operation up to 1000 m above sea level. These limits make cabinet ventilation and mounting position important in enclosed machine assemblies.
