The DKS01.1-W050A-DL03-00 is a digital servo drive built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. It regulates three-phase servomotors in automated machinery, converting mains power into controlled pulse-width-modulated energy while monitoring motion through the DSF digital servo feedback interface. It is suited for positioning axes and speed-controlled motion where the controller must react quickly to command changes. The feedback path allows the drive to track rotor movement in real time, which supports repeatable motion in packaging, handling, and other automation equipment. Current regulation, position data, and the internal bleeder resistor work together to maintain stable axis response during acceleration and deceleration.

The drive accepts a nominal supply of 3× 230 V (±10%) across three input phases, which feed an internal 300 V DC bus. Continuous output is limited to 25 A, while short-term demand can reach 50 A for rapid acceleration. Switching at 4 kHz shapes the PWM waveform into smoother motor current and helps the connected servomotor run with controlled torque. A built-in bleeder resistor dissipates regenerative energy internally and can absorb up to 9.4 kW during braking pulses. At maximum load, the controller draws 9.5 kVA and releases 305 W of internal heat, excluding bleeder losses.

The operating range extends from +5 °C to +45 °C without derating, and it can be used up to 55 °C when current is reduced. Operation is permitted up to 1000 m altitude, while storage temperatures range from −30 °C to +85 °C. Protection is rated at IP10 under DIN 40 050, so the unit must be installed inside a closed cabinet rather than exposed openly on a machine frame. This enclosure level protects against contact with larger solid objects, but it does not provide sealed protection against dust or water. The phase connection is three-phase, and the noise emission is standard.
