Product Description:
The DKS01.1-W050A-DA02-00 is a digital servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. In an automated axis, the unit regulates current and voltage delivered to a matched servo motor so that commanded torque and speed profiles are executed precisely. By coordinating with higher-level motion controllers over its internal bus, the drive closes the power loop between the three-phase supply and the motor windings, allowing repeatable positioning tasks in packaging lines, pick-and-place gantries, and material-handling stations. This arrangement also helps the axis respond quickly to changing load conditions during indexing and transfer moves.
The drive accepts a three-phase line supply of 3 x 230 V (±10%) at 50–60 Hz and internally rectifies it to a DC link held at 300 V. Under continuous operation, it can source 25 A to the motor windings, while its rated limit of 50 A accommodates short acceleration bursts. A carrier frequency of 4 kHz modulates the IGBTs and shapes the output current so torque ripple stays within normal servo operating limits. These electrical values describe the available current capacity and switching behavior, and they also support proper selection of upstream protective devices.
Thermal limits are managed through heat-sink dissipation and an integrated brake chopper whose bleeder resistor withstands up to 9.4 kW during rapid deceleration events. Outside that transient load, overall electronic losses are held to 305 W, so cabinet ventilation must remove a moderate but continuous heat load. The housing has an IP10 rating, which protects against accidental contact with live parts but requires installation in a clean enclosure. Reliable performance is specified from +5 to +45 °C. Operation is permissible up to 55 °C with reduced output, and full current capability is maintained at elevations up to 1000 m above sea level.
