The DKS01.1-W030B-RS45-01-FW is a digital servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. Installed between a higher-level motion controller and a servomotor, the unit converts line power into regulated DC and finely modulated AC so automated axes can accelerate, decelerate, and hold position with repeatable accuracy. Integrated current loops and status diagnostics simplify cabinet wiring and support coordinated movement in pick-and-place robots, printing presses, and conveyor systems. Because the power stage and control functions are combined in one unit, the drive can respond quickly to command changes and maintain stable motion during changing loads.

The electrical input to the drive is rated for 230 V AC supply lines with a tolerance of plus or minus 10%, and it can synchronize with mains frequencies of 50/60 Hz. Under continuous duty, the converter can deliver a motor phase current of 30 A. Excess kinetic energy is handled by an internal bleeder resistor that absorbs 0.30 kW continuously and can tolerate peaks up to 5.0 kW during rapid deceleration. Normal cooling uses heat dissipation through the housing, and the electronics release up to 230 W apart from the bleeder stage. The drive has humidity class F, and its acoustic profile is reduced noise to help lower cabinet sound levels.

During operation, the inverter’s intermediate circuit is maintained at 300 V DC, and motor torque regulation is updated at a pulse-width modulation rate of 18 kHz. The housing is classified as IP10, so the drive must be installed inside a control cabinet while still allowing convection airflow across the cooling surfaces. Continuous output is permitted up to an ambient temperature of 45 °C, with derating required up to 55 °C. When powered down, the electronics remain undamaged from -30 °C to +85 °C. Reliable operation is verified up to 1000 m elevation.
