The DKS01.1-W030B-RS22-01-FW is a digital servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. In automated lines, it accepts motion commands from a PLC or CNC controller and generates the current patterns needed to actuate permanent-magnet servomotors. It processes position feedback, regulates velocity, and monitors protective functions in one housing, which reduces cabinet complexity for pick-and-place gantries, indexing tables, and similar electromechanical axes. This arrangement is suited to applications that require repeatable starts, stops, and controlled speed changes during automated handling.
The drive is energized from a single-phase mains supply of 230 VAC (±10%), allowing operation on utility lines that remain within the stated tolerance window. It can deliver a continuous output of 30 A, providing the phase current needed for medium-torque motors in continuous duty. The shared DC link operates at 300 V DC, and this bus arrangement allows braking energy to be redistributed or dissipated as operating conditions require. The power stage switches at 18 kHz to support smooth current control while keeping audible noise low. The enclosure has an IP10 rating, so the unit requires installation inside a control cabinet rather than open mounting. A 0.3 kW bleeder resistor handles routine excess energy, cooling is done by natural convection, and the overall acoustic output is reduced.

Above the full-load ambient limit, current must be reduced to limit thermal stress in the power stage. Conformal coatings and gaskets meet Humidity Class F, supporting operation at 75 percent relative humidity without condensation. Transient braking events are handled by a peak bleeder capacity of 5 kW, which helps prevent overvoltage on the DC link during rapid deceleration. Installations are permitted up to 1000 m above sea level without performance loss.
