Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the DKS01.1-W030B-RS03-03-FW as Version 1 within the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. The unit is intended for cabinet-mounted automation where a resolver supplies continuous rotor position data to the control loop, allowing precise torque regulation on compact production lines. Resolver feedback is processed directly by the control card, so position data is available without a separate feedback module. Its cabinet-mounted format keeps the power section inside the enclosure rather than on the machine frame.
The drive accepts a nominal input of 230 V AC ±10% from either single-phase or three-phase supplies at 50 to 60 Hz and rectifies it to an internal bus of 300 V DC. A rated output of 30 A supports medium-power servomotors, while an integral bleeder network dissipates regenerated energy at 0.3 kW continuously and up to 5.0 kW during rapid deceleration. This arrangement allows braking energy to be absorbed inside the drive during short deceleration events. Pulse-width modulation is processed at 18 kHz, which improves current resolution, reduces current ripple, and helps keep audible noise low. The single-phase branch can draw 16 A under maximum load, providing flexibility when only single-phase mains are available.
The drive can operate at ambient temperatures up to +55 °C with output derating and at elevations up to 1000 m without adjustment. When powered from a three-phase source, the current demand peaks at 12 A, which can reduce conductor size compared with single-phase wiring. Heat is dissipated through the aluminum housing, and humidity class F under DIN 40040 allows use in rooms with up to 75% relative humidity. The drive has an enclosure rating of IP10, so it must be installed inside a cabinet that provides the final guarding level.
