The DKS01.1-W030B-RL02-00 is a digital servo drive created by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. As a drive controller, it supplies regulated power to matched servo motors and exchanges position data through its feedback channel. Within an automated cell, this unit closes the motion control loop so that axes accelerate, hold velocity, and decelerate according to the programmed profile generated by the higher-level PLC.

The drive accepts a single-phase or three-phase supply at 230 VAC, and this mains input is rectified onto an internal bus of 300 VDC that feeds the output stage. Both peak and rated current are 30 A, supporting short bursts of torque during rapid indexing as well as continuous loading at nominal speed. Pulse-width modulation is carried out at 18 kHz, a switching rate that helps minimize motor acoustic noise and smooth phase current. Motion commands arrive over the DLC 1.1 interface, and rotor position is returned by a resolver so commutation remains synchronized even under vibration. The unit can operate from either single-phase or three-phase mains, and its reduced-noise design helps limit cabinet sound levels.

Dynamic braking energy is absorbed by an internal resistor able to dissipate 0.3 kW continuously and up to 5 kW in short peaks, protecting the DC bus during fast deceleration. Application-specific signals are routed through the auxiliary I/O card set DEA 4.1 + DEA 5.1. Heat is removed by passive cooling, so no external fan is needed. The housing measures 170 mm wide, 260 mm deep, and 390 mm high, which helps it fit standard control enclosures. Line conductors may be run in cable up to 10 mm², while motor leads are limited to 4 mm². The unit is version 1, and its compact form factor suits standard control cabinet layouts.
