Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the DKS01.1-W030B-RL01-00 drive for servo axes in automated machinery. Belonging to the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series, this digital servo drive conditions mains power, modulates motor current, and evaluates resolver feedback from the attached encoder. An integrated PWM inverter, braking resistor, and diagnostic interface are contained in a cabinet-mounted chassis so packaging lines, material-handling gantries, or tooling stations can maintain precise position under changing mechanical load.
The drive accepts a mains supply of 230 V ±10 % and rectifies it to a 300 V DC bus. A switching bridge operates at 18 kHz, producing a continuous phase output of 30 A to the motor windings. Kinetic energy returned during deceleration is absorbed by an internal resistor that dissipates 0.3 kW continuously, keeping the bus voltage within safe limits. Maximum internal power loss is 230 W, and thermal energy leaves the unit through passive heat dissipation, eliminating the need for forced airflow. Resolver feedback is read directly by the control electronics, while the humidity limit of class F (DIN 40040) prevents condensation on sensitive circuitry.
During short braking events the resistor tolerates up to 5 kW peak, provided the surrounding air stays below +45 °C; operation to +55 °C is permitted with proportional derating. The enclosure carries the IP10 protection class, and its reduced noise emission allows placement near sensitive measurement hardware. Reliable performance is maintained to an altitude of 1000 m without de-rating, and storage is acceptable from −30 °C to +85 °C for transit or warehousing. Version 1 hardware also limits acoustic and electromagnetic output while enforcing the same resolver interface and 18 kHz carrier, ensuring consistent behavior across all installations.
