The DKS01.1-W030B-RA02-01 is a servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and delivered within the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. Version 1 of this unit interfaces with resolver feedback so it can determine rotor position and speed without requiring an optical encoder. Its digital control architecture processes those signals to command motor torque in real time for positioning and velocity loops in automated machinery. By combining compact packaging with reduced acoustic output, the drive fits control cabinets where limited space and strict sound limits coincide with the need for precise axis regulation.
Its three-phase input accepts 3×230 V AC within a ±10 % tolerance and converts this supply into a regulated DC link held at 300 V DC. The drive then delivers up to 30 A of continuous output current through a pulse-width-modulated bridge that switches at 18 kHz; the high carrier frequency lowers audible switching noise and improves current resolution. Regenerative energy is managed by an internal bleeder resistor that absorbs continuous loads of 0.3 kW and can withstand momentary peaks of 5 kW to prevent the DC bus from rising above safe limits. Even with the bleeder isolated, overall power loss at maximum drive output is limited to 230 W, a figure that sets cabinet ventilation requirements. The electronics remain functional up to a derated ambient ceiling of 55 °C, provided that airflow across the heat sink is not obstructed. Cabinet airflow must account for conversion losses, regenerative loading, and the allowable ambient temperature.
