Because power conversion and motion regulation are combined in the same enclosure, the drive can serve as the central electrical interface between the supply, the motor, and the axis feedback device.
Electrically, the drive accepts a three-phase supply of 3x 230 V AC (±10%) at an industrial line frequency of 50–60 Hz, rectifying it to an internal DC bus of 300 V. Full rated performance is available up to +45 °C ambient, and installations at elevations up to 1000 m above sea level do not require output reduction. The housing has an IP10 rating and relies on natural heat dissipation for cooling, so the drive should be mounted where surrounding air can carry heat away from the enclosure. The unit also meets humidity class F, and its intrinsic power loss is 230 W excluding the bleeder.
