Integrated braking circuitry and an onboard feedback channel allow the unit to manage deceleration and encoder signals within the same housing. It processes control commands and converts electrical input into the controlled motor output needed for closed-loop motion. This arrangement helps reduce the number of external components required in a control cabinet.
The inverter delivers a continuous output of 30 A. Current is switched at a pulse-width modulation rate of 18 kHz, which supports precise control while reducing audible noise during operation. For single-phase supplies, the drive accepts 230 V ±10 % input and rectifies it to an internal bus of 300 V DC. Short regenerative peaks are handled by a resistor bank rated for 5 kW, which helps protect the DC link from overvoltage during braking. The unit has an IP10 housing, so it is intended for installation in a clean control cabinet with limited access to live parts. The permissible ambient temperature range is +5 °C to +45 °C without derating, and output remains available at reduced capacity up to 55 °C. Installation is permitted at elevations up to 1000 m, which suits typical industrial cabinet locations.
