Product Description:
The DKS01.1-W030B-DL43-01-FW is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. As a digital servo drive, it links a plant controller to a motor by converting commanded setpoints into regulated current and voltage. This allows closed-loop speed and position control in industrial automation tasks such as pick-and-place axes, conveyors, and packaging lines. The drive is intended for coordinated motion applications where repeatable response to controller commands is important on automated equipment.
This model delivers a rated output of 30 A to the motor phases and switches at a carrier frequency of 18 kHz. This pulse-width modulation frequency helps minimize torque ripple and audible noise during operation. Both the internal and external DC buses are stabilized at 300 V, providing a fixed energy backbone for rapid acceleration and dynamic braking. The unit can be supplied from a single-phase 230 V AC ±10% feeder, and it also accepts three-phase 230 V AC input for higher power density. A mains frequency range of 50 to 60 Hz allows use on international grids. Heat from the switching devices is removed through passive dissipation, and regenerative energy is shunted into an internal bleeder resistor so external braking hardware is unnecessary.
The bleeder can absorb 0.3 kW continuously and tolerates peaks up to 5 kW during fast deceleration. The housing has an IP10 rating, which limits access to live parts and assumes cabinet mounting with forced airflow. Operation is permitted up to 1000 m above sea level without current reduction, and the drive can be stored from -30 °C to 85 °C. Ambient operating temperature ranges from 5 °C to 45 °C, with derated operation permitted up to 55 °C. The drive is Version 1 and uses a noise-reduction layout with a PWM-synchronized cooling plate.
