Product Description:
The DKS01.1-W030B-DL04-01-FW is a digital servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. As a drive controller, it converts incoming AC power into a regulated DC link and a pulse-width-modulated output for closed-loop motor positioning in automated machinery. Its resolver interface returns rotor data to the control loop so the drive can maintain accurate torque and speed response during motion. This makes it suitable for indexing axes, feed systems, and other single-motor applications that need repeatable positioning. The housing has an IP10 rating, so the unit is intended for installation inside a protected cabinet.
This model accepts an input of 230 V AC (±10%) and rectifies it to an internal bus of 300 V DC. At full load, the output stage can supply 30 A of continuous current to the connected servo motor while switching at a carrier frequency of 18 kHz, which helps keep current ripple and audible noise low. Dynamic braking energy is routed to an integrated bleeder resistor that can dissipate 0.3 kW continuously and absorb peaks of 5 kW during rapid deceleration. Heat from the power electronics is removed through passive dissipation, so no dedicated fan is required. The drive is built to humidity class F, and it has reduced noise emission to support quieter machine operation.
Total power drawn from the mains does not exceed 15 kVA at maximum load, which allows the unit to be used in panels that also contain other automation components. Reliable operation is maintained up to +55 °C, with current derating required above that temperature. Installation is permitted up to 1000 m above sea level before additional thermal allowances are needed. The Version 1 configuration combines power conversion, braking support, and closed-loop control in one compact single-axis drive. Its compact format is useful where cabinet space and airflow are limited.
