Product Description:
The DKS01.1-W030B-DL04-00 is a digital servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. It converts control commands into regulated motor current so automated axes can accelerate, decelerate, and hold position with high accuracy. Parameter memory allows the unit to be matched to different synchronous motors without hardware changes, so it can serve as the link between a motion controller and mechanical loads in packaging, material handling, and light assembly equipment. This type of drive is intended for closed-loop servo operation, where the controller adjusts motor current continuously to maintain commanded motion under changing load conditions.
On the supply side, the drive accepts 3× 230 V AC ±10% at 50–60 Hz, and it can also operate from a single-phase feed when lower dynamic performance is acceptable. Inside the converter, the DC link is maintained at 300 V DC, and the IGBT bridge switches at 18 kHz to reduce audible noise. Continuous output capability is 30 A, and the enclosure has a protection rating of IP10, so the unit should be installed in a cabinet. Operation is permitted from +5 °C to +45 °C without derating, at elevations up to 1000 m, and cooling is handled by passive heat dissipation through the housing.
Regenerative energy is routed to an internal bleeder resistor that can dissipate 0.3 kW continuously and tolerate peaks of 5 kW during rapid deceleration. That arrangement helps absorb braking energy during repeated starts and stops in light-duty motion cycles. When powered from a three-phase supply, the maximum apparent input reaches 15 kVA, so upstream protection and wiring must be sized for that demand. Ambient temperatures up to +55 °C are permitted with derating to protect the power stage. The drive also has humidity class F approval and reduced-noise circuitry.
