The DKS01.1-W030B-DL01 is a digital servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. It regulates torque and speed on synchronous motor axes, linking motion commands from a higher-level controller to the motor power stage. The integrated control and bleeder circuits allow regenerated energy to be absorbed while the drive executes position, velocity, and torque loops in packaging, assembly, and material-handling systems. It is intended for coordinated motion tasks that require accurate response to changing commands and load conditions.

The power section delivers a rated motor current of 30 A and accepts either single-phase or three-phase AC supply at 230 V AC (+/-10%). Internally, the DC bus is stabilized at 300 V, and excess energy is routed to a dynamic bleeder that can handle peaks up to 5 kW. Current is modulated with a carrier frequency of 18 kHz, which helps reduce audible noise and improve current resolution. The drive can be used with either single-phase or three-phase input to match available plant power. Heat is removed through the housing by passive dissipation. Control functions are handled by the DLC 1.1 command card together with the DEA 4.1 auxiliary card, and the drive stores 3000 program blocks for embedded motion sequences.

The enclosure is 390 mm high, 170 mm wide, and 260 mm deep, so the panel layout must allow space for convection. Continuous bleeder loading is limited to 0.3 kW to prevent thermal overload during repetitive deceleration cycles. Field wiring is supported by 7 freely assignable inputs and 11 freely assignable outputs, and the serial interface supports RS-232/RS-485 diagnostics and parameter transfer. Protection is limited to IP10, so the drive requires cabinet mounting. This protection level does not support open installation on the machine.
