The DKS01.1-W030B-DG04-00 is a digital servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. Acting as an intelligent power amplifier, it receives motion commands over fieldbus or analog channels and regulates three-phase current to a servo motor. In automated packaging lines, pick-and-place heads, and material-handling axes, the drive’s closed-loop control helps improve positioning accuracy and cycle consistency.
This drive accepts a single-phase mains supply at 230 V AC within ±10% and nominal line frequencies of 50–60 Hz. Internally, the rectifier charges a link circuit to 300 V DC, and the IGBT stage switches this bus at 18 kHz to produce a modulated three-phase output. The power section is rated for a continuous motor current of 30 A, enabling stable torque delivery on mid-power axes. The drive uses heat dissipation for cooling, and power loss at maximum load reaches 230 W, so enclosure airflow must remove that heat. Digital Servo Feedback provides high-resolution position data, while the IP10 protection class indicates that live parts require enclosure shielding from fingers or tools.
During regenerative braking, energy is routed to an internal resistor that can dissipate 0.30 kW continuously and tolerate surges up to 5.0 kW for short periods, helping keep the DC link voltage within limits. An undervoltage monitor trips if the bus falls near 200 V DC, helping prevent uncontrolled motion when supply power fails. Reliable operation is permitted up to 1000 m elevation and in ambient humidity class F, while service life remains predictable when cabinet temperature does not exceed 55 °C after derating. Noise emission is reduced, the drive is version 1, and its thermal management is integrated into the electronics section for steady long-term duty.
