The DKS01.1-W030B-DG01-00 digital servo drive is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. Serving as an axis amplifier, it rectifies the AC supply, builds a regulated DC link, and then generates pulse-width-modulated output for synchronous motors. Integrated drive intelligence processes position data from the connected encoder so that assembly robots, conveyors, and pick-and-place stations can achieve closed-loop speed and torque control without an external motion card. By combining power electronics, drive control functions, and regenerative braking hardware in one housing, it reduces cabinet space and wiring complexity in multi-axis automation.

The drive accepts a single-phase supply of 230 V AC (±10%), and an internal rectifier charges the DC link to 300 V DC for the output inverter. Above these limits, the current or switching frequency must be reduced to keep the power semiconductors and bus capacitors within their thermal limits. Low conducted emissions and reduced acoustic noise help limit interference with nearby instrumentation.
