Regenerative energy is dissipated through an internal resistor with 0.3 kW continuous bleeder power and up to 5 kW peak dissipation during short deceleration events. Even with convection cooling, total heat output is limited to 230 W of power loss, so extra cabinet fans are often unnecessary. The electronics can operate at altitudes up to 1000 m without derating, and the IP10 housing leaves openings for heat dissipation while still covering touch-safe areas. Reduced acoustic emission supports use in general industrial cabinets, and the drive uses version 1 control logic for its internal control functions.
