The DKS01.1-W030B-DA02-00 digital servo drive is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. It interfaces with synchronous motors and motion controllers to modulate stator currents, thereby controlling torque and speed in automated machinery. Within an automation cell, it links the incoming AC mains to the motor feedback loop, forming the core of closed-loop axis regulation in packaging, printing, and material-handling equipment.

The drive accepts an input supply of 230 V AC (±10%), allowing operation on standard plant power with tolerance for mains variation. Inside the converter, rectification produces a DC link that is stabilized at 300 V DC; this voltage feeds the inverter stage for precise phase generation. Current capability is rated at 30 A, supporting medium-frame servomotors during continuous load. Thermal waste is limited to 230 W at maximum three-phase output, so external cabinet cooling must remove that heat. Component temperatures are moderated passively because the unit relies on heat dissipation through its metal base rather than forced airflow. This internal DC link supports stable inverter operation during normal servo control and helps maintain consistent phase output to the motor. Humidity classification F designates use in environments with controlled moisture.

Environmental limits also affect installation. Continuous service is permitted up to an ambient of 55 °C; above this threshold, the controller must be derated or actively cooled. Altitudes up to 1000 m are permitted without output reduction, after which lower air density affects thermal balance. The housing meets protection class IP10, so the electronics must be installed inside a closed electrical cabinet while still allowing passive ventilation.
