Product Description:
The DKS01.1-W030B-RS01-00 is a digital servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. It regulates three-phase permanent-magnet motors by monitoring rotor position with an RSF resolver and adjusting pulse-width-modulated output to maintain commanded torque, speed, or position. In automated packaging, handling, or assembly equipment, the unit’s closed-loop control and resolver feedback allow synchronized axis motion and repeatable motion profiles with minimal latency.
An internal bleeder resistor dissipates regenerative energy at 0.3 kW continuously and withstands surges up to 5 kW during rapid deceleration events. The shared DC bus operates at 300 V, supplying the inverter that delivers a continuous motor phase current of 15 A when fed from a three-phase source or 10 A when supplied from a single-phase line. Line power enters through a nominal 230 V AC mains connection, and a heat sink-based dissipation scheme removes switching and conduction losses so the drive can hold these current levels without active fans. The noise emission is reduced, which helps limit acoustic output in industrial environments. Resolver feedback is processed by the unit’s digital signal processor while built-in diagnostics monitor bus voltage, transistor temperature, and bleeder loading.
For setup and control loop tuning, the front panel provides a ±10 V analog reference that is mirrored on the rear terminals. This reference is accompanied by a ±10 V DC diagnostic output that sources 4 mA to track real-time speed error. To limit motor ripple and audible switching artifacts, the gate drivers toggle at 18 kHz. The drive accepts either single-phase or three-phase feeds, accommodates a rated armature current of 30 A, and can operate at elevations up to 1000 m. The housing has an IP 10 protection class, and Version 1 supports resolver-based position loops with reduced electromagnetic noise.
