The DKS01.1-W030B-DS03-00 is a digitally regulated servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and included in the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. It is intended to operate the manufacturer’s MDD synchronous motors by converting incoming line power into a controlled three-phase output for accurate torque and speed regulation. In automated axes, the drive closes the velocity and position loops through DSF resolver feedback so packaging stations, pick-and-place units, and material-handling gantries can follow programmed motion with steady repeatability. When paired with a compatible motor, it supports responsive acceleration, controlled deceleration, and stable low-speed operation without requiring separate external feedback hardware.

The power section is supplied with 230 V AC and internally raises that input to a DC bus voltage of 300 V for pulse-width modulation. It delivers a continuous output current of 30 A and switches at 18 kHz, which helps reduce audible noise and supports smoother motor current delivery. The enclosure has a protection class of IP10, so the drive is intended for installation inside a control cabinet rather than in an exposed machine location. Heat is removed by the unit’s own dissipation path, so cabinet airflow must carry away the generated losses during operation. During deceleration, the internal bleeder circuit can absorb 0.3 kW continuously and can tolerate peak regenerative power up to 5 kW. This arrangement helps keep the DC link within its operating range when the connected axis returns energy to the drive.
