The DKR04.1-W400N-BE08-01-FW is a digital intelligent AC drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DKR Drive Controllers series. It coordinates high-power servo axes in machining centers and handling lines. The controller converts three-phase mains energy into regulated torque commands for compatible Indramat motors. This type of controller is commonly used where large motors must follow commanded torque and speed values with repeatable response.

The unit exchanges motion commands through a SERCOS interface, and its feedback loop accepts both digital servo and resolver signals for precise position verification. This arrangement supports accurate speed and position control across changing load conditions. The structural mass of 150 kg helps stabilize the installed unit in floor-standing enclosures and can reduce the effect of vibration during operation. Because no internal bleeder is installed, braking energy must be routed to an external resistor network or absorbed by coupled drives on the same DC link.
