Bosch Rexroth manufactures the DKR04.1-W300N-BT71-02-FW, a drive controller designed for intelligent and digital control of Ac motor like frameless spindle motors 1MB, main spindle motors 2AD or ADF, and linear motors LSF or LAF. The drive controls a spindle motor with a continuous output power of 10 and 93 kW at the motor output shaft. The drive controller is supplied with different command interface cards such as Profibus interface, INTERBUS interface, analog interface, and SERCOS interface. The drive features a broad speed range with a continuous power supply and a high level of control suited for operations in printing machines or NC-controlled machine tools. The controller may only be operated under ambient from +5° to +45° C and installation elevation from 0 to 1000 m above sea level. Operation of the drive under conditions that exceed the requirements may lead to damages.
The DKR04.1-W300N-BT71-02-FW is equipped with a contactor and an emergency stop shutdown device that allows for the connection of the drive to a grounded AC main with 3xAC 400 V ... 480 V. The drive controller is cooled by a blower and a heat sink integrated within its housing. Cooling occurs by conducting air through the machine using an air duct. The drive controller's cooling method allows for readjustments to meet any demands and requirements like cooling with air from outside or inside the control cabinet or cooling with a duct.
If the DKR04.1-W300N-BT71-02-FW drive controller is cooled by a duct, the flow of air is drawn in and out through two separate ducts. This cooling method is suitable if there is little or no space left to directly position the vents on the rear wall of the cabinet. The components required for mounting apart from the duct are supplied together with the drive controller. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
