Product Description:
The DKR03.1-W200Z-BE15-01-FW is a digital intelligent AC drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKR Drive Controllers series. As a multi-axis inverter, it supplies and regulates three-phase servo motors in automated machine tools, printing lines, and handling cells. This arrangement lets the controller support coordinated axes that require stable speed regulation and accurate torque response. The unit is in the Digital Intelligent AC Drive Controller product group and is assigned to Line 03 with Design Version 1 and Function Module Version 01. Motor position data can be returned through dual-mode digital servo and resolver feedback, allowing closed-loop speed and torque control.
The controller exchanges motion commands over a SERCOS interface, permitting deterministic communication with higher-level PLCs. Power devices operate from 3 x AC 400 to 480 V ±10%, while internal logic uses a separate AC 230 V ±10% control voltage. The separate control voltage keeps the logic and interface circuits supplied independently of the main power section. At a 4 kHz switching frequency, the drive delivers a continuous output current of 92 A, which corresponds to about 35 kW of sustained mechanical power at the motor shaft. The current rating code 200 identifies the power section used for this output range.
Total system losses are removed by a built-in air blower that forces cabinet air across the heat sink. During maximum load, the converter dissipates 1200 W of heat, so enclosure ventilation must carry that thermal load away from the cabinet. Because cooling relies on forced cabinet air, the enclosure should provide a clear airflow path across the heat sink. For short acceleration or load transients, the controller can reach a peak current of 141 A. The mechanical package weighs 49 kg, which affects mounting support and handling during installation.
