The DKR03.1-W200N-BE37-01-FW is an intelligent AC drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKR Drive Controllers series. By monitoring motor position and current in real time, the unit coordinates high-power servo axes in machining centers, packaging lines, and material-handling cells. In an automation cabinet, the controller converts fixed input power into precision-regulated three-phase output, closes feedback loops, and exchanges motion commands with the PLC. The architecture combines power electronics and control logic in one enclosure.
Motion commands reach the controller through the SERCOS interface, allowing fiber-optic communication with centralized controls. At a 4 kHz switching frequency, the power stage can deliver 92 A of armature current, which supports up to 35 kW of shaft power when the unit is paired with a matched motor. Internal logic is supplied by a separate AC 230 V control circuit, so parameter memory and diagnostics remain active even if line power is isolated. Thermal energy is removed by a built-in air blower, so no external ducting is required. The DC bus is configured without a brake chopper, so surplus energy is handled through the drive regeneration path.
In transient moves, the drive can source up to 141 A, providing extra current for rapid acceleration and deceleration beyond the continuous rating. The power section accepts a three-phase supply of 3×AC 400–480 V ±10%, making it suitable for common industrial power systems. At peak throughput, the assembly releases 1200 W of heat that must be removed by cabinet ventilation. With a transport mass of 49 kg, the unit is intended for floor-standing enclosures. The unit is Line 03, design 1, and function module 01. A digital resolver feedback channel maintains positional accuracy under changing loads.
