Product Description:
The DKR03.1-W200N-BE05-01-FW is a digital intelligent AC drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the DKR Drive Controllers series. It converts three-phase mains power into controlled output and sends time-critical torque and speed commands to servo and spindle motors used in machining centers, transfer lines, and gantry systems for precise industrial axis control. The unit belongs to Line 03, is supplied in design version 1 with function module version 01, and uses a rigid DC bus without an integrated brake chopper, so regenerated energy must be handled outside the unit.
The controller exchanges setpoints and status data through the SERCOS interface, allowing coordinated communication with higher-level motion systems. During continuous operation at a 4 kHz switching frequency, it can deliver 92 A of output current, which corresponds to about 35 kW of mechanical drive power for connected axes. Internal logic and I/O are supplied by a separate AC 230 V control source with a tolerance of ±10 percent. Thermal management is handled by a built-in air blower that moves cooling air across the power section and control electronics. Cabinet ventilation must remove the heat released by the converter during operation to keep the drive within its normal operating range.
For short bursts, the drive can supply up to 141 A of peak current, giving additional acceleration torque to high-inertia loads during demanding motion changes. The power stage is rated for 3×AC 400–480 V networks with a ±10 percent input range, matching plant supplies commonly used in North America and Europe. The unit supports both digital servo feedback and resolver feedback, allowing compatibility with different motor feedback formats in mixed drive systems. It has a mass of 49 kg, so the mounting structure must support a relatively heavy drive module during operation.
