Product Description:
The DKR03.1-W200N-BA36-01-FW is a digital intelligent AC drive controller developed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKR Drive Controllers series. Within an automation cell, it regulates three-phase servo or induction motors and executes precise torque and velocity commands while exchanging position data through digital servo or resolver feedback channels. By operating as the axis power stage in a motion system, it supplies regulated current to the motor windings and handles regenerative energy produced during dynamic cycles.
At the motor terminals, the drive can deliver a continuous output of 92 A at a 4 kHz switching frequency, which corresponds to a sustained mechanical power of 35 kW. Transient events such as acceleration spikes are accommodated by a peak current capability of 141 A. The DC link and power stage are rated for a mains range of 400–480 V AC (±10 %), and the product’s internal rating code of 200 matches that voltage class and current range. These electrical values allow the device to operate large single-axis gantries or multi-motor lines without thermal derating. Resolver or digital encoder feedback is processed in real time to close the current and velocity loops, maintaining setpoint accuracy even when load inertia changes.
Thermal management is handled by an integrated built-in air blower that removes switching losses of 1200 W. A separate control section requires AC 230 V (±10 %) for logic, gating, and blower supply, isolating the low-power electronics from the main bus. Command signals enter through an analog interface, giving PLCs simple ±10 V velocity or torque references when a fieldbus is unnecessary. The rigid DC bus is supplied without a brake chopper, so excess energy is returned to the mains. The unit is part of line series 03, design version 1, with function module version 01. Overall mass is about 49 kg, which affects cabinet rail loading and lifting requirements during installation.
