Internal Product Review
The DKR03.1-W200B-BA03-01-FW is a digital intelligent AC drive controller with an analog interface. Built-in blower cooling and approximately 35 kW continuous drive power give the controller impressive thermal handling and solid output for demanding motion systems. Digital servo and resolver feedback supports precise control, and the 141 A peak current stands out as a strong performance advantage.

Product Description:
The DKR03.1-W200B-BA03-01-FW is a Digital Intelligent AC Drive Controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the DKR Drive Controllers series. It uses an analog command interface to receive setpoints from an external motion controller and regulate three-phase output for synchronous or asynchronous motors. The unit also processes digital servo and resolver feedback internally, allowing precise position and speed control without separate converter hardware. An internal bleeder resistor supports controlled dissipation of braking energy during rapid cycling. This arrangement makes the controller suitable for transfer lines, presses, and gantry systems that require fast changes in speed and load.
With a rated power bus of 3 x AC 400–480 V, the drive delivers about 35 kW of continuous output and maintains a continuous current of 92 A. The power stage switches at 4 kHz, and the brake resistor can dissipate 1 kW continuously during normal braking duty. The logic circuits use a separate supply of AC 230 V ±10%, so the control electronics are powered independently of the main power input. Cooling air from the integrated blower removes heat from the power section and supports stable operation under sustained load.
In dynamic cycles, the drive can provide a peak current of 141 A, and the brake resistor can absorb up to 150 kWs of energy before duty-cycle limits are reached. Overall heat generation can reach 1200 W, so cabinet ventilation must remove that load when the 49 kg enclosure is mounted vertically. The controller is part of line 03, uses design version 1, and includes function module 03 with version 01. It is intended for machine layouts that use a 200 A class bus connection. That operating range suits larger linear motors and spindle drives that need high current reserve during acceleration and deceleration.
