The DKR03.1-W100B-BE12-01-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKR Drive Controllers series. It works as a standalone inverter module that converts incoming electrical power into regulated output for the torque and speed control of Indramat servo motors in machining centers, presses, and other automated axes. Inside a motion system, it receives control data and converts bus power into controlled motor current for responsive axis movement. By combining power conversion, feedback processing, and communication functions in one housing, the unit serves as the central actuator stage in numerically controlled equipment.

An integrated energy dissipation circuit described as with a bleeder directs regenerated current to a resistor bank to help prevent DC bus overvoltage during rapid deceleration. Motion commands reach the controller through the fiber-optic SERCOS interface, which supports synchronous communication and cyclic setpoint exchange with higher-level controls. Heat is removed by air cooling, and a built-in blower moves air through the unit so internal components remain within their operating temperature range without external ducting. For position-related control, the drive accepts digital servo feedback for high-resolution incremental signals and resolver feedback for rotor angle information available at startup.
