Internal Product Review
The DKR03.1-W100B-B is a digital intelligent AC drive controller with air cooling by built-in blower and an internal bleeder. Continuous 71 A output at 4 kHz and approximately 26 kW drive power give the controller impressive capacity for sustained machine operation. Digital servo and resolver feedback pairs well with 3xAC 400 to 480 V input, making the controller a strong choice for high-demand servo applications.

Product Description:
The DKR03.1-W100B-B is a digital intelligent AC drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKR Drive Controllers series. It conditions three-phase mains power and issues precisely timed pulses to servo and spindle motors so that speed, torque, and position follow program commands in automated machining centers and material-handling cells. This supports controlled motion on axes that require repeatable acceleration, deceleration, and position tracking during demanding production cycles. It can be used for coordinated motion where spindle regulation and servo positioning are handled in the same drive platform. Its internal braking circuit absorbs regenerative energy as heat, so no separate dumping hardware is required in the control cabinet.
At 4 kHz, the drive delivers a continuous current of 71 A. Under these operating conditions, it sustains about 26 kW of output, which suits large axis drives and high-load motion tasks. The power stage accepts a mains window of 400–480 V AC ±10%, while the logic circuits run from a dedicated 230 V control supply that isolates sensitive electronics from line fluctuations. During normal duty, the unit releases around 900 W of heat, so enclosure ventilation must remove that thermal load. The product is part of Line 03 with Design Version 1, and it carries a current rating of 100.
The braking circuit uses a resistor rated for 1 kW of continuous dissipation and capable of absorbing 150 kWs per stop, helping manage repeated deceleration of high-inertia loads. Cooling is provided by a built-in air blower, so no external liquid lines are required. With the bleeder and blower in one chassis, the unit weighs about 49 kg. Digital servo and resolver feedback interfaces allow the controller to close velocity and position loops with compatible Rexroth motors. Because both feedback types are supported, the controller can be matched to different motor configurations used in servo and spindle applications.
