The DKR02.1-W300Z-BE84-01-FW drive controller offered by Bosch Rexroth has an extremely hot surface that can cause burns if it is touched when the device is in use. The handling of this controller must be done using only appropriate lifting and/or handling equipment. Its drives should not be opened or disassembled in a pressurized state. The unit assists in the digital control of the manufacturer’s linear, frameless spindle and AC main spindle motors. The product renders precise regulation and control of these motors that have 10kW to 93kW continuous output power at their output shafts. The drives in this controller are equipped with a broad speed range and a high level of control.
This drive controller is supported by an emergency stop device and an integrated mains contactor. The housing of the controller is integrated with a blower and a heatsink. Its basic unit can be customized by inserting the appropriate plug-in modules for the application in the U1 to U4 slots. The U5 slot is intended to be used for the software module. The firmware must be procured as a separate subitem. The device uses a SERCOS interface for command communication. Its drives are connected to control units of higher ranks using fiber optic cables.
