It conditions three-phase power for servo and main-spindle motors in automated equipment. The controller also exchanges deterministic motion data with the plant controller so commanded speed and torque can stay synchronized with the machine cycle. This role lets it serve as the power and control stage for axes that require precise response during indexing, spindle regulation, or synchronized transfer moves.

Motion commands enter through the SERCOS interface, giving the controller real-time synchronization with CNC or PLC platforms. This heat load is especially important when multiple high-power axes are installed in the same enclosure and airflow paths must remain unobstructed. All hardware mounts on a back-panel grid, and service access is frontal despite the unit’s mass of 104 kg. The frontal layout keeps terminals, indicators, and access points reachable from the front of the cabinet during normal machine setup and operation.
