Product Description:
The DKR02.1-W300Z-BE24-02-FW drive controller is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the DKR Drive Controllers series. It is intended for cabinet-mounted installation, where it supplies, monitors, and dynamically brakes large synchronous or asynchronous servo axes. Inside an automated cell, the unit converts line power into a regulated DC bus and drives the power transistors so commanded torque, speed, and position values can be applied to the connected motor with short response times. By combining supply, monitoring, and braking functions in one housing, it supports centralized servo systems in transfer lines, handling machines, and other equipment with heavy rotating masses.
This model exchanges all motion and diagnostic data through a fiber-optic SERCOS interface, allowing deterministic time slots for cyclic setpoints and feedback. The optical link helps reduce electrical interference on command transmission and keeps communication stable across multi-axis systems. Thermal stability is maintained by a built-in air blower that moves air across the internal heat sinks, so no external liquid cooling loop is required. A continuous output capability of 300 A provides the high phase current needed by wide-frame motors during acceleration and sustained load. Position and velocity signals are returned through digital servo feedback and resolver feedback channels, giving the controller incremental position data together with rotor angle information at standstill.
The unit is Version 1. Within the product family, it belongs to line 02, placing it in the second design line of the series. This grouping is intended for use with matching supply modules and extension cards from the same design line. The integrated command interface synchronizes multiple axes inside a single SERCOS ring, allowing real-time interpolation without additional bus couplers. This supports synchronized motion on machines that coordinate several servo axes from one control system.
