Product Description:
The DKR02.1-W300Z-BE24-01-FW drive controller is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DKR Drive Controllers series. As a digital intelligent AC drive controller, it governs large synchronous or induction motors used on gantries, presses, and similar axes that require coordinated motion. The unit combines power conversion and closed-loop regulation so that motion commands from a PLC are translated into precisely metered current. It is suited for applications where accurate speed control, torque response, and position feedback must be maintained through changing process loads. By integrating power electronics, fieldbus communication, and feedback processing in one chassis, it simplifies cabinet layout and centralizes diagnostic information for industrial automation systems.
For command and diagnostics, the controller uses the SERCOS interface, enabling real-time data exchange with the motion control host. At a 4 kHz switching frequency, the power stage can supply 141 A of sinusoidal output, which supports high continuous torque. The semiconductors are fed by 3xAC 400–480 V ±10%, while the logic circuits draw AC 230 V ±10%, separating control power from the main supply. Heat is removed by an internal built-in air blower, allowing cabinet mounting without liquid cooling. Resolver and digital servo feedback are accepted for precise velocity and position loops.
When load surges occur, the inverter can deliver a 212 A peak for short durations, providing reserve for acceleration and cutting transients. Under continuous operation, the converter processes about 55 kW of electrical power, and total heat dissipation is rated at 1800 W for cabinet ventilation planning. The shipping mass is 104 kg, so the mounting structure must support substantial weight during handling and operation. Current rating 300, design version 1, function module version 01, and line series 02 indicate the product configuration within the DKR range.
