Product Description:
The DKR02.1-W300N-BT72-02-FW is a digital intelligent AC drive controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the DKR Drive Controllers series. It governs high-power synchronous or induction motors in automated machining centers, presses, and handling systems by converting incoming three-phase power into regulated AC output while exchanging motion commands with a master controller. Its closed-loop architecture supports digital servo or resolver feedback, allowing accurate position and torque regulation during demanding industrial motion tasks. This arrangement suits axes that require stable speed control and consistent response under changing load conditions.
At the communication layer, the drive uses a SERCOS interface, so parameter data and cyclic setpoints travel over a fiber-optic ring with sub-millisecond latency. During continuous duty at a 4 kHz switching frequency, the power section delivers 141 A of output current and about 55 kW of mechanical power to the connected motor. The control electronics use a separate supply of AC 230 V ±10%, which isolates internal logic and I/O from the power bus. Thermal energy created by the IGBTs is removed by a built-in air blower, keeping components within their rated limits. The DC link does not include a brake chopper, so regenerated energy must be returned to the mains.
The power section is sized for transient demands up to 212 A of peak current, which helps the axis accelerate heavy loads without losing control. Mains connection accepts AC 400–480 V ±10% on a three-phase supply, and overall heat dissipation reaches 1800 W, so cabinet airflow must remove that heat effectively. With a transport mass of 104 kg, the drive requires a rigid mounting structure to support safe panel installation. The drive is in the 300 A current class, design version 1, and line series 02, and it does not include an internal bleeder.
